'Porlock' is a semi-evergreen, medium-sized shrub with small leaves and racemes of fragrant, bright yellow flowers in spring.

Grow in poor but well-drained soil in full sun

  • Semi-evergreen - Keeps some of its foliage all year, and will drop some leaves as well. - 3-palmate leaves, 1-2cm (½-¾in) long.
  • Yellow

  • Tall Shrub - vigorous, arching shrub with upright shoots. Produces flowers, 2cm (¾in) long in terminal racemes.
  • Half hardy - unheated greenhouse / mild winter - Hardy in coastal and relatively mild parts of the UK except in severe winters and a risk from sudden (early) frosts. May be hardy elsewhere with wall shelter or good micro-climate. Likely to be damaged or killed in cold winters. Plant can withstand temperatures down to -5°C (23°F)
