A great choice for gardens, Ilex aquifolium 'J C van Tol' is a small Holly tree with virtually spineless evergreen leaves and bright red berries. The leaves are a glossy dark green, with new stems emerging purple. In May and June, very small, single white flowers appear. As a self fertile variety, 'J C van Tol' reliably produces an abundance of colourful red berries that adorn the tree in autumn and winter.
